Research, design, develop, and test RxClaim software. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Apply principles and techniques of engineering, and mathematical analysis. Analyze and translate business requirements to technical requirements. Develop technical specifications and create design documents. Develop programs using SYNON/2E, COBOL, COBOL ILE, CL Programming, SQL. Create unit test plans, execute, and document results. Collaborate across teams during the software development lifecycle. Meet with business associates, clients and business analysts to understand requirements. Participate in scrum meetings to discuss requirements and approaches. Perform code walkthroughs and final reviews. Address production issues, regression test issues, QA and UAT issues. Work on the OLTP (Online transaction processing) of RxClaim and batch programs. Create technical documentation and diagrams, presenting to clients and business users when needed.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a software engineering-related occupation. Experience must include:
1. At least five (5) years of experience in COBOL;
2. At least seven (7) years of experience in SYNON/2E;
3. At least seven (7) years of experience in developing systems software within the iSeries platform;
4. Domain knowledge in the PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) industry;
5. RxCLAIM online transaction processing; and
6. At least five (5) years of application design experience.
.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
