Catamaran's Specialty Pharmacy serves the needs of patients with complex chronic diseases and is URAC and ACHC accredited. As a key member of Catamaran's specialty pharmacy business, the Regional Account Manager is responsible for building effective business relationships with healthcare providers, selling Catamaran's specialty pharmacy service and increasing territory sales. Develop and execute territory sales plan, develop sales targets, close sales, coordinate sales efforts with strategic manufacturing and distribution partners, support the needs of the medical practice clients and participate in company sales planning, meetings and reporting as its relates to specialty medications and therapy management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving top results, building relationships, and promoting sales and marketing programs. Job will require occasional evening and weekend event attendance and a minimum of 30% overnight travel depending on geography.

Increase sales and attain sales goals
Develop territory sales plan
Research and identify sales targets
Make cold calls
Use consultative sales process, probe for customer information and barriers
Manage questions, objections and close sales
Coordinate call activity with inside sales representatives
Develop solutions to gain profitable business
Create relationships with manufacturers
Serve needs of medical practice accounts and resolve issues
Collaborate with Catamaran pharmacy personnel to efficiently and effectively service customers
Uphold the highest ethical standards
Comply with all Catamaran and government policies and regulations
Maintain a database of customers through documentation of activity
Manage territory budget including T&E; and customer related expenses
Travel minimum 30% with occasional evening or weekend event participation
Excellent selling and territory management skills
Business Acumen-Specialty Medication and Therapy Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build business relationships from the ground floor with health care professionals
Excellent listening skills
Must have experience selling MS, Oncology, Autoimmune or Hep C therapies
Strong planning and organizational skills
High quality work, organized with attention to detail
Strong customer focus with the ability to problem solve to meet customer needs and expectations
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Customer Relationship Management Systems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
