Bilingual Automation Training Leader in Schaumburg, IL to provide industrial component product and application technical training for Industrial Automation Components sales and support staff, channel partners, and customers.
Responsibilities of the Bilingual Automation Training Leader :
Deliver Industrial Component training programs (English or Spanish) including
Temperature and process control training.
Fiber optic and photoelectric sensor training
Industrial Components workshop for new hires (in-house and on-site)
Develop training courses using ANSI/IACET development standards
eLearning Self-Paced Customer Training
Generate presentations
Generate Course outlines/Learning Outcomes
Generate pre-test/posttest assessments
Develop hands on activities to complement Learning Outcomes desired
Maintain product expertise by:
Assisting customers with answers to technical questions (Estimate 25% of job)
Update assigned Instructor Led courses yearly
Assisting with Safety workshop hands on training
Safety components knowledge
Knowledge in safety component assessment using ISO 13849-1 guidelines
Switches, relays, and light curtains.
Acts as liaison between Field Sales, coordinating efforts between company personnel and customers regarding product-training requirements.
Special projects and duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Bilingual - English and Spanish.
Four (4) year Engineering Degree (Electrical or Mechanical) or two (2) year Technical School Degree with equivalent years of technical experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience with industrial component products focused on OEM's dealing in some of the following industrial market segments; Packaging, Automotive, Semicondutor, Material Handling, Panel builders, or Elevator.
Experience programming temperature/process control loops a plus.
Experience in instructing groups of 10 - 25 people (sales people, engineers, management)
Experience in developing course objectives and training materials highly desired.
Experience in the use of course authoring tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline desired.
Energetic, aggressive and focused, highly motivated self-starter and financially driven.
Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to win.
Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally and good organization skills.
Team player mentality but able to work independently as required.
Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral).
Will have 25% overnight travel.
