ATS has an immediate opening for a Recruiter.
This individual will be responsible for seeking qualified candidates for employment by applying fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of recruiting.
Responsibilities will include:
Implementing proactive recruiting approaches, utilizing developed resources which may include two- and four-year colleges, outplacement centers, search firms, advertising media, internal referral system, career fairs, and others as developed
Building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, diverse professional organizations, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations maintaining rapport
Reviewing and selecting candidates based on qualifications through telephone and personal interviews; scheduling interviews and coordinates activities relating to interview evaluations, pre-employment testing, reference checking, and department decision on final offer; reviewing pre-employment processing to ensure quality of hire; negotiating salary with top candidates; negotiating relocation and benefits if necessary; confirming offers in writing and processing necessary paperwork to close requisitions
Adding and maintaining candidate records relating to conversations, interviews, submittals, placements and referrals as part of a robust CRM tool
Updating requisition data as needed to ensure accurate and timely reports
Participating in college Career Days, on-campus interviews, and classroom presentations to highlight ATS opportunities
Making suggestions for procedure effectiveness
Providing backup for other members of the department as needed
Traveling to interview trips, trade shows and job fairs
Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders
Prescreening candidates by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
Preparing candidates for interviewing with ATS and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job description and expectations
Maintaining accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and search tools
Developing an effective pipeline of key talent available for immediate hire as staffing levels dictate
Staying informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
Managing candidates engagement relative to the applicant tracking system, careers website, and other corporate branding/communication points
Leveraging online recruiting resources and applicant tracking system (e.g. Taleo) to identify and recruit the very best candidates
Interviewing all candidates prior to presenting to hiring manager for detailed interviewing. This includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies
Maintaining accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers' interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance with document retention.
Qualifications will include:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a subject matter expert in sourcing and recruiting for high volume and niche markets and positions
Recruiting in an IT environment preferred
An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, industry trends, relationship management
B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline required
Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad, diverse, and deep range of positions and skill sets
Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level
Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases
Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs and operating within financial resource constraints
Proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ideal candidate will be strategic, energetic, highly motivated, persuasive and self-directed
Have a bias towards action and be able to mobilize quickly
Desired Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Boolean recruiting techniques and search string (AIRS Certification a plus)
Extensive networking experience required (e.g. a network of 500
connections in LinkedIn)
Taleo (Applicant Tracking System)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
