Computer Systems Analyst - Level 2

Conduct systems analysis and programming to maintain and control the use of computer systems.
Responsible for analyzing business technology solutions and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
Responsible for defining requirements by directly engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand product roadmap and the need for future enhancements and new functionalities.
Responsibilities include onsite project coordination, involvement in various phases of projects starting with solution requirement analysis, design, development, integration and end-to-end testing of solutions.
Document application and process flows; and provide support for key functions related to development, implementation and integration services, and testing where possible.
Clarify user requirements via interview and analysis.
Write detailed description of user needs, as well as functional and/or technical specifications.
Study existing information-processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new system specifications to improve production or workflow as required.
Identify appropriate success criteria for implementing the integration.
Participate in the implementation of integration solutions.
Produce system design documents and participate in technical walkthroughs.
Coordinate the creation of appropriate environments for testing the newly built interfaces.
Conduct user acceptance testing with the Customer.
Participate in product demo and training sessions.
Assist in pre-sales activities including technical validation and scoping/estimation.
Balance the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to self-prioritize in order to meet project milestone deadlines.
Provide continuity for any future integration and development services - by ensuring acquired knowledge is collated, stored, and made available for those Encore teams providing the services.
Identify and establish appropriate Service Level Agreements with external groups involved in the integration implementation activities.
Provide complete visibility into and report status to appropriate parties on the progress of various activities that are part of the project plan.
Provide ongoing support and enhancement services by exploring and identifying opportunities for improving and stabilizing existing architecture, application, and business processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information, Computer Applications, Architecture, Engineering, Math or Related.
Five years of years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Programmer, Software Engineer, QA Engineer, or Consultant.
Required skills:
C#; SVN Subversion/Visual Source Safe; Nunit Testing Framework; and Deklarit Data Modeling Tool.
Job site: Schaumburg, IL
Travel: Travel to local and regional areas in IL.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
