Quality Assurance Engineer

Work closely with product management, software developers and system engineers to understand requirements and participate in design discussions, scalability, and reliability tests of business tools, third party applications.
Work with appropriate project teams to review and provide feedback on requirements and application functionality to improve software quality and to create automated regression test cases.
Work with both Business & IT users to understand the test need and develop testing strategy, test plan, test case accordingly.
Gather Project Specific Requirements (PSRs) from business team.
Coordinate with architects and techical leads to define the long term strategy for repeatable testing within the organization and aid in creation of appropriate environments for testing the newly built interfaces, newly deployed code.
Analyze, design, develop/ code, test and maintain automation test scripts for product/ software applications across the client test and production environments.
Establish and maintain a detailed test automation framework and methodology.
Analyze, develop and execute manual testing.
Plan and execute automated regression scripts (written using Micro Focus tool for different client applications such as RBM Imasis, SRx Imasis, RBM Portal, SRx Portal) to ensure business and technical requirements traceability and complete test coverage.
Plan and execute test scripts as per test cases and document the results.
Analyze the failures, debug failures into categories of Application issue, Script issue, Data issue. Log defects in JIRA application for application issues.
Coordinate with the developer for the defects logged; Re-test the defect fixes and Sign off testing for PSRs.
Develop and maintain object repositories, test data, and function libraries.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to Automation team members and QA Management. Log defects and work with the Business and IT teams to prioritize and resolve issues. Notify QA Management of any critical issues or testing impacts and delays.
Implement processes with business units ensuring the user acceptance testing is performed and appropriate sign-offs are recorded and documented prior to releases.
Evaluate and analyze load tests using a variety of load testing tools, statistics and analysis techniques.
Recommend changes, strategies and course corrections as appropriate.
Responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of automation testing tools.
Ability to understand the Software Development Life Cycle process and the role of QA within the SDLC Communication.
Support production releases and maintenance releases.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related
5 years of experience as a Programmer, Computer Systems Analyst, or Quality Assurance (QA)
Required Skills:
Agile; Silk Test, VSS, Test Director; Smoke/Sanity and Usability Testing.
Job site: Schaumburg, IL
Travel: Travel to local and regional areas in IL.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
