Department - National Accounts and Contracting
Responding to foreign inquiries and management of the bid process for tenders. The position is responsible for coordinating paperwork requirements between the customer, Regulatory, Product Management, the legal dept., and corporate CMOs. Oversight of foreign orders and working with Finance and Supply Logistics to ensure that payment has been received and that orders are shipped with the appropriate paperwork and per customer instructions.
Completion of foreign distribution agreements and the registration of products in foreign nations.
Ability to manage and coordinate the processing of paperwork from multiple departments / sources.
Overall foreign sales.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Responding to foreign inquiries. This ranges from a basic acknowledgement that company is interested in exploring a business opportunity to responding to a major RFP.
Working with other departments to ensure the completion of required forms / documents, so that products may be registered in foreign countries
Miscellaneous work related to foreign sales. Forecasting, oversight of orders, gathering necessary paperwork to accompany orders (COA, COO, Airway bills, etc).
Knowledge or Experience:
Experience with pharmaceutical sales to foreign countries.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate the work efforts of multiple departments and the timely completion of projects.
Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as required.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and a flexible team-oriented perspective
Ability to oversee multiple and competing projects in a fast-paced, changing team environment.
Strong interpersonal communication skills required - verbal, written and presentation.
Education and Certifications - Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5 years experience of foreign pharmaceutical sales.
Level of Managerial Experience Required - 8 on a scale of 1-10
Minimal travel as needed.
Decision Making - Be able to work independently and make decisions based on available date, history and established processes and guidelines.
