Project Management Consultant
CARA is looking for a Project Management Consultant to work with an Instructional Design team for a large-scale training project. This is a 6-month project involving the rollout of our client's new underwriting process across their North American business. It is essential that the Project Manager has a background in Learning, Human Capital, or Organizational Development. This is a highly visible role, so the Consultant will need to possess an executive presence. We are also looking for an individual with a PMP certification.
Duration: 6-month project, first 3 months are 40 hrs/week and the last 3 months will wind down to 20 hrs/week or so
Location: onsite daily in Schaumburg, IL
Project: Commercial Insurance Underwriting Training
Qualifications:
Project Management Process (resource planning, deliverables management, budget control, risk management, etc.)
Project Management tools, specifically, advanced skills in MS Project
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Written and oral communication skills
Conflict resolution skills and analytical skills
Stakeholder and team member relationship management experience
Extreme attention to detail and ability to see the big picture
Able to work in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic environment
Team player and collaboration skills
