The Assistant Manager is a key leader assisting the Store Manager to meet that goal.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for people development, expense management and driving the operational aspects of the business.
This role has a broad range of responsibility in store operations and reports directly to the Store Manager.

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience2

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
