Confidential Confidential Schaumburg, IL Schaumburg, IL Full-time Full-time $170,000 a year $170,000 a year An established Chicago based boutique business law firm seeks to hire a full-time litigation attorney, who has at least seven years of experience, to join the team representing clients, their family office, and partner companies.
The position will be mostly remote, but it will require meeting face to face and in the office periodically.
Again, the sought attorney should have at least seven years of litigation experience with state and federal court matters, and ideally, the attorney should have a substantial amount of commercial litigation experience (ie.
including extensive breach of contract litigation).
Bar licensing in Illinois and ability to practice before the federal courts are required.
Since this is a remote position, the selected person is expected to be in constant contact by email, phone, and text during business hours.
Most of the litigation will primarily involve plaintiff side breach of contract cases, but some legal work will involve defense work.
A full-time salary of $160,000 is being offered, and this compensation will be 1099 rather than W-2.
