Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for energetic, personable, motivated individual with excellent customer service skills.
Barrington Orthopedics Specialists is looking for a full-time Certified Medical Assistant, assisting in clinic with patient evaluation and documentation.
Strong concentration on Worker Compensation field with review of documents and preparation for IME's and communication with adjustors and attorneys.
This individual will be assigned to a Physician in clinic, and dependent on physician assignment duties will vary.
Duties will include, but not limited to, assist Physician with procedures, messaging, phone calls to patients and required documentation, process medical refills, work/gym notes, any other related paperwork as needed.
This individual will see patients in clinic, H/P general overview of reason for visit and verifying all information completed thus far is accurate.
New grads are welcome!Schedule:
Full time 36-40 hours a week.
Monday Friday, travel to all 4 locations will be required.

Must be able to multitask and be willing to learn new tasks.
This position is very hands on, and we will take the time to train you in all areas needed!Duties will include:
You would be assisting in clinic with patient evaluation and documentation.
You would be seeing patients in clinic, H/P general overview of reason for visit and verifying all information completed thus far is accurate.
Assist Physician with procedures, messaging, phone call documentation, process medical refills, work notes, any other related paperwork as needed.
Strong concentration on Worker Compensation field with review of documents and preparation for IME's and communication with adjustors and attorneys.
On the job training will be provided.
Expectation that you will cross train to cover other Clinical Teams.
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant preferred Previous Experience in orthopedic setting preferred Previous Experience with casting, splinting and DME preferred Athena EMR System - A PLUS
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in medical and or work compensation field preferred.
Electronic Medical Records:
preferred, we currently use Athena.
Requirements:
Attention to detail is a must.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
