Summary:
The Office Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations by providing support across various administrative tasks.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.
This individual will work closely with the team members at all levels across the organization to coordinate and manage cross-organizational activities.

Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Assist in daily administrative tasks, including but not limited to managing phone calls, emails, agendas and correspondence, and maintaining office/kitchen supplies Data Entry:
Accurate and timely data entry of various documents, records, and information into the company's database or other relevant systems Scheduling:
Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences, ensuring that calendars are up-to-date and all necessary materials are prepared Document Management:
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring easy retrieval of information when needed Communication:
Act as a liaison between various departments, clients, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Visitor Management:
Greet and assist visitors, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate personnel Travel Arrangements:
Assist in making travel arrangements for staff, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and coordinating special events, conferences, lunch/dinners and gatherings Company Swag:
Maintaining and handling inventory, ordering and invoice verification Integrity and confidentiality:
Partner with HR to manage data entry and pulls and ongoing updates and communication of organization charts Skills/Traits/Competencies:

Experience/Education/
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors at all levels Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred The successful candidates will receive a competitive compensation package that includes:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
