The Director of Operations, Diagnostic & Imaging is responsible for organizing and overseeing the daily operations of the Diagnostic and Imaging division of the Epic Specialty Staffing Strategic Business Unit (SBU) division.
This position ensures that the business is well coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.
This position will be located onsite at our offices in South Barrington, IL.
About Us:
Epic Specialty Staffing, Diagnostic & Imaging Division offers staffing solutions focused on providing remote radiologists who can seamlessly plug in to a radiology practice or hospital to provide after hours or surge-support to provide remote reading services.
What You'll Do:
Formulate strategic, financial, and operational plans aligning with corporate budget.
Execute strategies and tactics to reinforce the achievement of established plans.
Mentor, coach, and manage the team, ensuring the realization of individual performance objectives.
Establish processes fostering team efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional client/clinician service.
Develop and implement data analytics, reports, and dashboards to identify growth opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and discern business trends.
Collaborate with Credentialing, Finance, and Operations teams to optimize financial productivity and overall performance.
Liaise with technology teams to maximize system capabilities supporting organizational objectives.
Conduct workload analysis to efficiently allocate staff during peak periods.
Implement skill matching for task assignment, optimizing employee/contractor performance.
Introduce flexible scheduling options accommodating varying workloads and meeting client/clinician preferences.
Utilize scheduling software for automation, real-time adjustments, and precise tracking of staff availability.
Establish robust communication channels to address scheduling changes, ensuring staff are well-informed and prepared.
What You'll BringProven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position within the Healthcare Staffing Industry.
Remote Workforce Management Experience.
Experience leading a team of 5 or more individuals.
Experience with an efficient scheduling platform.
Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.
BS/BA in business administration or relevant field; MS/MA will be a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
