OVERVIEW The Solutions Engineer will facilitate sales by establishing technical relationships with Residential channel partners to promote maximum use of Crestron Home Automation solutions. In this role, you will be exposed to our customers and the incredible solutions we provide. As you will be primarily supporting sales managers and customers based in the East part of the United States, we are looking for a candidate who lives in greater NYC metro, Rockleigh, Atlanta, or Charlotte, D.C. etc. We will consider remote candidates in other Eastern locations near major airports, as this role requires up to 60% travel. RESPONSIBILITIES Interact with key channel partners on a regular basis alongside the region's Residential Regional Sales Managers. Establish and maintain relationships with channel contacts through regular visits Assemble and provide product demonstrations to partners, contacts, and end users as well as complete onsite product training to enable channel sales growth. Assess channel concerns and provide appropriate advice/action as well as keeping in constant communication with the sales team. Monitor trends within channel partners. Participate in industry tradeshows and other key market events Become the Crestron Home SME Subject Matter Expert, building on your prior residential AV experience. QUALIFICATIONS A BS in EE, CE, IS, IT or relevant technology field -- preferred A minimum of 3 years of experience within a technical engineering role -- preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written An ability to learn new skills and work with new technology Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams) for presentation & training Self-motivated, ability to work without direct supervision Broad understanding of Ethernet networking technologies and protocols Ability to adapt and relate to customers of all technical levels Experience with Home Automation technology - required; Crestron preferred Salesforce experience --preferred Valid U.S. Drivers' license Certifications preferred for this role are below. Crestron will support you in obtaining these certifications:
AVIXA CTS certification; CTS-D certification; Network+, CCENT or CCNA certifications preferred 3rd party A/V certifications
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
