Provides thought leadership in the Continual Service Improvement process, while providing guidance to Continual Service Improvement Engineers. Identifies, creates, and conducts Continual Service Improvement initiatives in a 24x7x365 fast paced wireless telecom environment. Assembles teams and drives improvements while reporting progress and improvement results back to the business. Manages and drives meetings for initiative teams, and reports to all levels of the organization up to and including C Level executives and external business partners. Engage key stakeholders at all levels within Engineering and IT to gather data on current performance and processes across the diverse range of services within Engineering and IT. Analyze and interpret complex data in the context of acting on the analysis to enhance the strategic goals of the business. Champion, partner and lead cross functional initiatives with the goal of driving process, people, tool improvements that enhance the availability and reliability of networks. Identify Continual Service Improvement initiatives leveraging a variety of sources including and not limited to:
Incident and Problem Management data trending, high impact/high visibility incidents/problems, and by request from Senior Leadership Utilizing Continual Service Improvement methodologies, clearly define objectives, implement initiatives, define measures of success, and measure results Lead and coordinate Continual Service Improvement Engineers to lead technical team meetings utilizing to drive improvements and hold resources accountable for actions Oversee/Create presentations for Monthly Critical Outage Review meetings displaying results of CSI initiatives Regularly review the CSI process and Engineer performance for quality input/output and utilize lessons learned to drive the team to become more efficient and effective Review toolset and methodology for upgrades or replacements Demonstrates deep understanding of service provider and telco vendor operational best practices; good understanding of business practices that are critical to maintaining and operating best in class telco grade networks. Demonstrates deep knowledge and understanding of USCC Enterprise, Consumer and Business services across IT and Engineering Demonstrates good understanding of USCC network architecture across LCCs, RCCs, Carrier Hotels and data Centers. Bachelor's Degree in related technical/business discipline or equivalent work or military experience Strong understanding of wireless telecommunications, and IT Infrastructure Minimum 7 years of Continual Service Improvement or Problem Management experience Minimum 7 years of Operations experience in a 24x7x365 environment Minimum 7 years of ITSM Tools experience Demonstrated advanced interpersonal communications and complex problem solving Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communications skills including the ability to develop presentations and present to senior management Demonstrated ability to multitask Demonstrated self-starter ITIL Foundation certified PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Incident/Problem Management or relevant experience ITIL Continual Service Improvement certified
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Process ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
